Description: This layer represents the Metis Settlement Label comprised of the name of the polygon that represents the Metis Settlements in Alberta.
A Metis Settlement is land set apart for the use and benefits by the Metis people, and for which the legal title rests with the Crown in right of Canada.
The federal government has primary jurisdiction over these lands and the people living on them.
The visibility of the label symbology is governed by seven (7) Label Classes in a Label Manager using scale ranges.
The Label Classes in the Label Manager for the Indian Reserve Label layer are as follows:
